We took a drive with the kids last month, and I burned a bunch of kids story MP3s onto a CD for us to listen to in the car. Now they are asking for stories even when we go to school. (It takes a lot longer to get through them that way, but they really like that car time is also story time!)

The initiative is designed to help ensure that all children have a chance to start school with the skills necessary to thrive. Available in English and Spanish, “Happy, Healthy, Ready for School” offers three free kits with original Sesame Street stories, parent and caregiver guides, and special children’s publications.
