Our two year old got one of these as an infant and the ‘rain’ noise has been a staple to help him fall asleep since. His “Sheepie” is a close companion even when the noise is not playing. We bought another one just last week to give as a baby gift, and found that they had upgraded a little. Our sleep sheep only plays 23 minutes of noise, but the newer model give you the option of the noise lasting 23 minutes or 45 minutes. That’s a nice addition, as the 23 minutes sometimes is too short. We have machine washed and dried this MANY times and it seems to be standing up to the beatings a washing machine can give a stuffed animal.

The front wheel is hard plastic (no rusting) and the black tire portion is a soft plastic (I think they are using this tire on other current Radio Flyer products) The back wheels are the hard plastic wheels used on the old big wheels (and a R.F. wagon we currently have) but since the Tailspin has inline skate wheels to do the spinning this should not be a wear issue. The bike frame is all metal and very sturdy. The seat is plastic and adjustable with a screw driver and wrench. This trike is so sturdy I was even able to give it a very lame “mom spin” around the driveway much to my children’s delight.

The directions to put the trike together were very clear and large. It took me an hour but I was being very careful. I was trying to make sure I had all of the washers and nuts in the proper place since my kids were going to be riding it. I am sure this will make it through many, many, years of play. Love it!

UPDATE: My 7 & 11 yr olds have been riding the trike everyday since we got it. They have both gotten real good at spinning out. My 11 year old came into the house yesterday and said “That thing is awesome!”

This Pop Goes Froggio game is on sale for $4.99 (was $20.99 – 76% off!).  Here is a review of that game: My 3 year old son absolutely loves this game. He likes to find the match and then jump really hard on the pump to make Froggio jump high into the air. He giggles when my husband or I try to play with him and he “thinks” he is so much faster then us and we fall all over ourselves trying to catch Froggio. Great simple game that make my son smile every time we play it.
